As we all know, Cinco de Mayo is a cultural phenomenon in the United States. It’s a time to celebrate Mexican culture and, for some, an opportunity to drink a lot of margaritas & cerveza! This Tuesday, May 5th, Armsby Abbey will help you celebrate Cinco de Mayo at home with an assortment of Mexican inspired items!
Cinco de Mayo Taco Kits | 2pp @$28 | 4pp @$50 | Each dinner kit is priced to serve 2 adults (6 tacos) or a family of 4 (12 tacos) featuring locally milled corn tortillas from All Souls Tortilleria in Vermont; Choice of:
– Carnitas, salsa roja, salsa verde, queso fresco, lime pickled onion, cilantro
– Cauliflower “Chorizo”, cashew crema, lime pickled onion, roasted salsa verde, cilantro
– Pollo Guisado, charred tomato salsa, avocado crema, onion & cilantro
– Brisket Birria, salsa roja, lime pickled habanero/onion, queso fresco, cilantro
We will also have classic Mexican Street Corn, freshly made Chips & Guac, and pints of Mexican Iced Coffee Ice Cream available!
No Cinco de Mayo celebration is complete without a proper Tequila Kit! Featuring an assortment of 4 fresh pressed tequila friendly mixes for $24 (1-8oz bottle of each): Strawberry Margarita Mix, Mango/Jalapeno Margarita Mix, Paloma Mix, and Classic Margarita Mix! Of course you can also purchase them individually. All you need to complete the mood is a bottle of tequila and some ice! As always we recommend the brothers Don… Julio or Eduardo that is.

Since it is all about you this weekend Dad, we are going to take it up a notch and make this Father’s Day Brunch all about your favorite things… Bourbon, Beer, Bacon, Bloody’s, & BBQ!
Join us Saturday, June 19th, or Sunday, June 20th, for a Dad inspired brunch. Armsby Abbey will begin taking reservations for the weekend of Father’s Day on June 5th. To make your table reservation, call 508-795-1012 or download the RESY app to reserve your table via your phone! Table reservations are available beginning at 10:00AM. If the allocated tables online with RESY are full, please add your name to the “notify” list and we will reach out if a table becomes available or give us a call. As always, our patio (weather permitting) and bar seating remain open for walk-ins throughout the day.

Long before Governor Baker decided to roll back Covid restrictions on May 29th, we prepared Armsby Abbey for a July vacation to stave off the doldrums of Summer in Worcester. While rollbacks happened unexpectedly on Memorial Day Weekend, versus August as initially planned, the ball had been set in motion.
Armsby Abbey will be closed July 1st – 19th. The first 3 weeks of July are some of the quietest weeks of the year here; we simply can’t compete with the ocean or mountains. All staff will receive their average weekly wages throughout our closure so they too can decompress without financial worries and return refreshed. We will re-open Armsby Abbey on Tuesday, July 20th, at 11am with relaxed Covid protocols, additional seating, & extended hours of operation!
