The Armsby Abbey is located in downtown Worcester, MA, adjacent to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Elwood Adams Hardware. We are conveniently located right off route 290 within walking distance of all the downtown Hotels, DCU Center, Palladium, and Mechanics Hall.

Parking during the day can be tough as the meters tend to fill up early from the nearby Courthouse and Sheriff’s Office. However, after 5:00 PM you do not need to feed the meters and on-street parking is plentiful. Also after 5:00 PM, and anytime on the weekend, we have a large parking lot located between Kangaroo Crossing & Elmwood Adams. The lot has a large “P” sign and a small guard shack in front with a sign that states “parking by permit only”; however, this only applies on weekdays till 5:00 PM.

As we are a small bar room with only 9 tables thus we do NOT take reservations; however, if you have a large group of 10-20pp we would appreciate a heads up and pending the date/time of your request, we may be able to reserve space.

Last but not least, as we are a bar before a restaurant, we do not consider ourselves a child friendly establishment. Young adults under the age of 21 and children over 3 years of age are welcome any day before 6PM with their parents, however thereafter we are strictly a 21 plus establishment. Our bar room was designed to be a comfortable and ambient getaway for adults; thus it is simply not conducive or accommodating to the likes of babies or children under the age of 3 years. We apologize for the inconvenience to parents out there, however we stand firm on this decision.
