Over the last 3 years we have watched Crust’s business blossom here in Worcester thanks to the support of our local community, the customers of Armsby Abbey, and area farmer’s markets. However, with success comes personal sacrifice. That being said this week marks a bittersweet milestone for us. In an effort to reclaim a better quality of life at home and focus more time and energy on our flagship Armsby Abbey, we have opted to streamline our business portfolio and have sold Crust Bakeshop.
This decision was not an easy one for us to come by; however we do hope you will agree the new owner, Alexis Kelleher, is the best candidate for the job. You may already know Alexis as she has been our lead baker & store Manager at Crust since the Spring of 2016. We have been working closely together in recent months to ensure this transition goes as smooth as butter. At present, Alexis intends to maintain all relationships, wholesale accounts (especially that of Armsby Abbey), staffing and hours of operation. We are confident with Alexis at the helm giving Crust the TLC it needs to continue to thrive; the future for Crust is bright!
