Bourbon Brunch 2/27-2/28

Armsby Abbey sure does love its bourbon, especially the smooth, high rye variety produced by Four Roses.  The distiller will be in town again for Julio’s Liquors Whiskey Weekend so we’re cooking up some delicious brunch items featuring their fine bourbon along with plenty of bourbon cocktails. No reservations required. Just come and enjoy some oak aged Kentucky goodness Saturday, February 27th & Sunday, February 28th from 10AM-3PM each day.

Country Toast
Fresh baked breads from Crust Bakeshop
served with bourbon apple butter & cultured butter

Bourbon Baked Sweets
Mini bourbon-bacon sticky buns, bourbon glazed lemon scones, and
bourbon-bacon doughnut holes baked fresh for us next door at Crust Bakeshop!

Bourbon Cured Bacon
(3) thick slices of bourbon cured & house smoked bacon
made with heritage pork belly from Adams Farm

Granola & Yogurt
Homemade granola, Sidehill Farm yogurt,
locally harvested bamboo honey, Carlson Orchard apple

Grilled Toast
With bourbon-apple butter, Lilac Hedge Farm smoked pork shank,
bourbon fried onions and chives

Soup du Jour
Made from scratch daily and served with a side of
fresh baked bread from Crust Bakeshop

Breakfast Slate
Chef’s choice of two Farmstead cheeses served with local bamboo honey,
Carlson Orchard apple, cultured butter, bourbon-apple butter,
peanut butter & fresh baked breads from Crust Bakeshop

Mac ‘n’ Cheese
Made with an artisan assortment of our Farmstead cheeses & IPA
topped with homemade rustic ale-bread crumbs

Brassicas Salad
Shredded local kale, cabbage, and kohlrabi, with sliced apple,
focaccia croutons, and a citrus yogurt dressing

Cinnamon Pancakes
Trio of cinnamon buttermilk pancakes,
smoked orange bourbon syrup, vanilla bourbon butter

Bourbon Cider Waffle
Made with local apple cider and bourbon topped with a
caramelized squash compote and bourbon mascarpone

Root Vegetable Quiche
Bourbon roasted root vegetables, bourbon smoked sweet onions, Vermont cheddar,
local organic eggs and cream served with a side of dressed local greens

Pork Sandwich
Open-faced smoked pork butt sandwich served on fresh baked cinnamon-bourbon raisin bread, bourbon brussel sprouts, onion & apple slaw, bourbon sriracha aioli, and a fried egg with a side of dressed local greens

Bourbon Chicken
Bourbon braised Misty Knoll Farm chicken legs & thighs,
bourbon sweet potato puree, braised cabbage and roasted apples with a fried local egg

Biscuits & Gravy
Fresh baked cheddar & chive biscuits with a rich bourbon sausage gravy,
soft-cooked local egg, fried kale chips, lemon zest

    Hi Melissa. The menu for Bourbon Brunch was just posted to the event page. Full details will be posted Saturday morning to our brunch page when all menu items and cocktails have been finalized. We look forward to seeing you this weekend!

    Hi Megan. We only do reservations for groups of 6 or more at 10AM/11:45AM/1PM respectively for brunch. At noon on any Sunday we are generally on a 30-45 minute wait. I recommend coming at 11:30 to get your name on the wait list if you have any time constraints. We look forward to seeing you this weekend!
