Dinner with Dan Kittredge
Join us at Armsby Abbey on Tuesday, October 20th, at 6:30PM as we welcome Dan Kittredge of the Bionutrient Food Association (BFA) and Kittredge Farm in North Brookfield for an informational dinner.
Founder of the BFA, and life-long farmer, Dan Kittredge works tirelessly to empower and educate farmers towards the production of quality food for the improvement of human health. The mission of the BFA is to increase quality in the food supply; “We propose to provide growers the information, relationships and markets for higher quality food. We propose to provide eaters the information, relationships and sources for higher quality food. We propose to provide food purveyors the information, relationships and consumers for higher quality food.”
Dan not only tirelessly travels around the country speaking at various workshops, but also holds an annual Soil & Nutrition Conference that emphasizes the connection between soil health, plant health, and our health, while also fostering community with Conference attendees.
Prior to the start of this sit-down dinner, there will be a welcome reception followed by a 20-30 minute talk by Dan himself about the BFA, what it means to you and how you can become an advocate. AS for the dinner itself, all produce and meat will be directly sourced from Kittredge Farm in North Brookfield, MA.
